In the process of Metal 3D printing,laser melts metal powder layer by layer.
And observing the horizontal cross section of 3D printed parts, we can recognize that the metal structure is formed according to its scanning path.

In SOLIZE, we set the scanning direction so that the next layer scans perpendicularly.

In Fig.4, it shows that there are big defect on the end of the scan path and small defect beside the melted part.
In some cases, you can predict its cause by examining the place of these defects and melted parts.
We are customizing our parameters according to these predictions.
