TPT(Time Partition Testing)

Functional Testing Tool for Embedded Software

Through partnership with PikeTec GmbH, SOLIZE provides the functional testing tool TPT (Time Partition Testing).
TPT is a tool for functional testing, integrating a number of standard development tools. TPT is suitable for all development phases; that is to say, TPT can be used for MiL, SiL, PiL, HiL, and in vehicles. The tests are executed, assessed and documented fully automatically.

Graphical and Systematic Test Modeling

Scenarios often consist of sequences of logical phases. Automatons are used for structuring such test phases in TPT. Path and variant combinations of automatons will be found automatically and nothing will be missed.

Test Case Generation & Test Execution

Generated test cases are composed of path and variant combinations of automatons. Generated test cases can be executed by a selected platform on TPT.

Not only for functional testing (requirements-based testing), the test cases for structural coverage tests of Simulink models and C-Code can also be generated by TPT (TASMO). This means TPT testing is valid for both functional and structural testing.

Traceability of Requirements & Test Reporting

TPT supports analysis and coverage examination of requirements and tests. Requirements can be imported from several requirements management tools. Requirements can be linked to test cases and reported along with the tests.
